![]() ![]() The place has a feeling of uncleanliness about it. The service was average, and overly familiar. There were items on the menu they don't actually serve in Hawaii, (the 'server' said they just get the materials sent to them from the mainland), so not having menus for that actual restaurant is a cost-cutting measure. The Brussels Sprouts had an unnecessary greasy sugary sauce glooped all over them. The pasta sauce was some sort of salty gloop that obliterated the lobster flavor (it did have some diced tomatoes as filler, but these were flavourless). You couldn't taste the lobster because of all the salt added. Unfortunately, while the portions were generous, the actual items were each individually awful. Everything we had, had the potential to be excellent, had it been prepared by even a moderately talented chef. Thus the items served are either over salted, over sugared, over oiled, or all three. They don't bother with trained chefs, and the formula for the items served are designed for profit and least common denominator of clientele. This is a corporate run chain restaurant. The one shining light on that evening was the bartenders, they were great and helpful, as we were having to go to the bar to order most our drinks including sodas. This is definitely a reflection on the manager and his unhelpful assistance. We ended up eating dinner a little after 8p. We did see him, but he didn't once offer to help out the waiter and he knew we had been waiting there for a while. ![]() He is responsible for the restaurant when he is there, and he was nonexistent. I believe if the Manager stepped in to assist it would have not been such a disappointment. And it pretty much went downhill fast from there on. He did stop off every now and then and say, I'll be right with you. He was busy, yet the section they put us in only 4 tables had people, our table was #5. Unfortunately, they sat us in a section that had a terrible waiter. We haven't been there in ages because the service and food had gone downhill the last time we were there. It was our mom's 81st birthday and we told her to choose anywhere she wanted to go. I hope everyone else has a great experience, but will not be going back! More This meal ran us $150 USD so 255$ CAD for us and I didnt get to eat anything! I did reach out to customer service support team, but they have yet to get back to me. When getting home, the lobster wasnt cooked all the way, and the crab and potato was awful. I asked to take it to go as I was having a grumpy baby at this time. When i told her I could not eat the food (going on2 hrs now) she just said she could remake some of it and that was it. When letting the server know, she advised the warmer to keep food from getting cold was broken. It must have been sitting there for a while because it was cold cold. Food came out a little over 1.5 hrs later and it came so cold. I didn't mind waiting, even with our baby. seafood dish and a steak dish, but was informed around 30 minutes in that they were going to be about an hour due to only one line cook. I will say the server tried her best with what she had, but unfortunately it was a sinking ship. Unfortunately, this is going to be a minus 10 star review :( Went there on a Thursday and was so excited to dine here.
